Queen House Garden is located in St. Elena, a truly strategic,in a green Arean of Venezia.
 
Along the beautiful promenade that leads you to Saint Mark's square in just 10 you can admire the splendid Venetian Lagoon and magnificent backdrop, palazzo ducale.
 
The beginning of the Canal Grande offers the spectacle of the chiesa della salute that opens in front of the Church and the island of San Giorgio and San Marco square. Enjoy a glimpse of old Venice, where the Venetian dialect and some traditions are maintained over time, with palaces and home in the style of a dream city, Venice.

ARRIVAL FROM MARCO POLO AIRPORT– Tessera (VENICE):

There are three ways to reach the hotel from Venice’s Marco Polo Airport:

  • WATER TAXI (30 min.)
    Easy access by water taxi thanks to the nearby pier located approximately 50 mt from the Queen House Garden.
  • MOTORBOAT + VAPORETTO (60 min.)
    The tourist motorboat “Alilaguna” is the quickest means of public transport that directly connects Marco Polo Airport with Venice. This service is timed to coincide with all arriving flights. It takes approx. 50 minutes to arrive at the “Lido” stop. From there, frequent vaporetti depart for the “Sant’Elena” stop (routes 1, 5.2 and 6 – first stop – 5 min.)
  • BUS + VAPORETTO (60 min.)
    The ATVO Air Terminal bus service takes visitors from the airport to “Venezia - Piazzale Roma” (approx 30 min. approx.). From Piazzale Roma, there are frequent vaporetti to the “Sant’Elena” stop. The best, fastest routes are numbers 5.1 and 6. (approx. 30 min.)

 

ARRIVAL FROM SAN GIUSEPPE AIRPORT - TREVISO

  • BUS + VAPORETTO (approx. 1hr and 40 min.)
    The ATVO EUROBUS SERVICE provides transportation from San Giuseppe - Treviso Airport to “Venice - Piazzale Roma”. The shuttle is timed to coincide with RYANAIR and TRANSAVIA flights. (1hr and 10 min). Once at Piazzale Roma, take the vaporetto (routes 5.1 or 6) and get off at the “Sant’Elena” stop (approx. 30 min.).

 


ARRIVING BY TRAIN FROM THE VENEZIA – SANTA LUCIA STATION

The Venezia – Santa Lucia station is Venice’s central station. Take the vaporetto (routes 5.1) and get off at the “Sant’Elena” stop (approx. 35 min.). Alternatively, take a Taxi - Motorboat (approx. 20 min.).

 

ARRIVING FROM PUNTA SABBIONI – LIDO DI JESOLO/CAVALLINO

  • MOTORSHIP + VAPORETTO (30 min.)
    From Punta Sabbioni, take a motorship (motonave) and get off at the “Lido” stop (25 min.). From the Lido, take the vaporetto (routes 1, 5.2 or 6) to “Sant’Elena”, which is the first stop (5 min.).

 


ARRIVING BY CAR

Cars are not allowed inside the city of Venice. You can leave your car at Piazzale Roma (Car Terminal) or on the island of Tronchetto. Take the vaporetto to the "Sant'Elena" stop - routes 51 and 61 (approx. 30 min.) or catch a private taxi.
The other parking is available at “Tronchetto”. From here you can reach the hotel Sant’Elena by taking the vaporetto ( route 1) within S. Marco square and than the vaporetto, route 2, to Sant’Elena.


In ten minutes, hotel guests can easily reach St. Mark’s Square, the Doge’s Palace, the Basilica, the Bell Tower, the Bridge of Sighs and the Clock Tower (S. Zaccaria stop) (route 1). Vaporetti leave from the “Sant’Elena” stop every 5 minutes.
